Level: Level 3

The course develops the skills and knowledge needed to manage music events. You will become familiar with tasks, strategies and factors that influence the success of an event then will put the theory into practice by planning and managing a music event. You will learn how to set up staging and technical equipment for live events. You will be taught how to work as a lighting operator as well as using control equipment in a stage performance.

You will have the opportunity to gain additional experience from guest speakers, study trips (including the British Music Experience), university open days and collaborations with local music venues.
