The course offers a balance of IT and business skills which allow a practical understanding of how industry works, whilst supported by IT. In addition to technical skills, learners will also develop the ability to communicate and present themselves effectively within this industry. The department offers the most up-to-date software, preparing the learners for the requirements of the workplace.

The department is a Microsoft and CISCO approved academy, allowing learners access to the most up-to-date software, within college or at home. An emphasis on business skills gives the learner a broad skills set.
