Level: Level 3

This qualification covers a range of subjects such as psychology, sociology and anatomy and physiology to teach you the skills needed to progress into a career in health and social care or to study at university.

All lecturers have a professional background in the Health and Social Care Sector ranging from mental health, youth offending, child care to working with adults with learning difficulties. During the course, a variety of guest speakers and off site visits to local health and social care providers will give you an insight into a variety of different settings.

During the course, a variety of guest speakers and off site visits to local health and social care providers will give you an insight into a variety of different settings.

During the course you will complete 200 hours work experience in up to 3 different health and social care settings. This provides you with valuable experience to demonstrate your suitability to prospective employers. A range of trips are organised such as a trip to the Crown Courts, a trip to London and visits to a range of different health and social care settings.
