Level: Level 3
This course introduces the five main areas of Psychology: developmental (children), social (people), cognitive (thoughts), behavioural (behaviours), and biological (physical systems). It also covers research methods used in psychological investigations.
A successful Psychology student has a genuine interest in explaining human behaviour and consequently, has the ability to apply what they learn in class to their own situation.
In recent field trips we have visited the Science Museum and the Freud Museum in London, and a new trip to Vienna to learn more about Freud and Psychoanalysis is planned for 2013.
