Description

Introduction

This is the second year of the A Level Psychology course. The A2 Level is designed to deepen the knowledge you gained during the AS Level.

What Will I Learn

You will learn how to apply the learning material from the AS year to topics like memory, issues in research, forensic psychology, abnormal psychology and controversies in psychology.

How Will I Be Assessed?

There will be 2 final examinations (i.e. one in January and one in June). However, there will be graded homework to complete throughout the year.

You will require Grade 'D' or above in AS Psychology.

You will require two textbooks- Psychology A2 for WJEC: The Complete Companion and Angles on Applied Psychology .

Progression

Upon completion, you can continue the study of Psychology at Degree level.
