If you are interested in beauty therapy or currently hold a beauty therapy qualification, we have nail treatment and technology courses that will teach you specialised skills you can take into the industry and offer your clients.
The Vocational Training Charitable Trust Manicure and Pedicure is a nationally recognised qualification which allows you, when qualified, to obtain insurance and to practise the therapy.

How long is the course?
19 weeksHow will I be assessed?
Ongoing theory and practical assessment. The theory is assessed by written tests, usually on a weekly basis.There are also assignments where access to a computer is helpful, but not essential.
Practical assessments are completed in the Academy salon.
What does the course lead to?
You could progress onto a range of other qualifications e.g. Advanced Nail Techniques, Cosmetic Make-Up, Depilation or Nail Art (all available at Vision West Notts).Entry requirements
You need to be educated to GCSE standard and have a general interest in people and the profession. Good communication skills are also essential.You will be required to attend an interview before being accepted onto the course.
