This programme is designed for qualified social workers with a first degree who are employed in social work practice and are seeking to gain a post-qualifying award in social work.

The programme incorporates the specialist standards prescribed by the General Social Care Council under its post-qualifying framework for social work education and training. The programme aims to enable students to integrate theory and practice in their studies and extend their professional knowledge, skills and values.
