The module content will help you develop a range of basic counselling skills. You will be working in a positive and supportive context, you will develop skills in counselling and communication skills and explore and discuss theories and concepts in bereavement counselling.
What can this course lead to?You will have enhanced skills and knowledge which are necessary to effectively work with families and individuals who are experiencing grief, loss or bereavement.
Resources and facilitiesThe Energus Gateway Facilities will be used. Including the laptops, interactive whiteboards, lecture theatre, classrooms and open spaces.

Credit and UCAS requirements Credit: 20 credits Selection criteriaAS or equivalent
Non traditional entrants without AS equivalent will be interviewed and may be set a short task to establish readiness to study.
All applicants who meet the entry requirements will be accommodated on a first come first served basis.
Applicants without the traditional formal qualifications will be interviewed.
