Education studies opens the big debates.Some key themes, central to the course, are critical and reflective thinking, equality and diversity. By thinking about how we learn, through our conscious and unconscious knowledge, you will consider formal, examined learning as well as the other knowledge that shapes our lives, our interests and our value structures.

Please note that the BA (Hons) Education Studies and English degree is also available with a foundation semester (3.5 years) for applicants who do not meet the entry requirements for the 3-year full-time course.
