The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Built Environment specialisms is aimed at students with a good honours degree or significant work experience and professional qualifications, who wish to undertake a research-based masters degree. As an MPhil student you will critically investigate and evaluate an approved topic and demonstrate an understanding of research methods in the built environment subject area. You will present and successfully defend a thesis by oral examination to be awarded the degree.
