Safeguarding of Children

Overview

This safeguarding children course is designed to give everyone who works, or has contact with children, young people and/or their families, an introduction to safeguarding and to raise awareness of the below areas.  

Outline of safeguarding children Program:

• Legislation and guidance
• The recognition of child abuse
• How to respond to concerns
• Who to contact when there is a concern
• Fulfilling "duty of care"
• Safe practice and keeping children safe

Assessment:

The safeguarding of children training course is delivered in 3 hours and Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn along with interaction of group activities.

Cost:

Our training courses are competitively priced and we guarantee to beat any equivalent training quote. SPECIAL OFFER- If two, three hour care sector courses are run on the same day at the same venue then the cost is £500+VAT (Usually £325+VAT per course) These could be two of the same courses or a combination of two different ones.

Important information:

The training venue should be quiet and undisturbed. Staff should not be expected to be on duty. Staff attending should remain for the entire length of the session.
