The course is relevant to both first aiders or non first aiders, appointed persons, anyone working with the public and anyone working in an environment with increased risks.

Heart attacks are now the biggest single killer in the UK. More and more establishments now see the benefits of installing automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) on site for use in cardiac arrest. AEDs are safe, reliable and dramatically increase the chances of survival.

- Basic life support
- Recovery position
- Use of AED
- Reporting and recording of AED usage

End Qualification:

A CWA Business Services certificate is awarded on successful completion.
