Full-Time courses for 16-18 School Leavers are Free.
Course fees are per year.
If you are aged between 19 and 23 and you don’t have a qualification equivalent to 2 A Levels, tuition fees will be waived. If you meet the Eligible Benefit criteria AND are aged 19-23, tuition fees will be waived. Tuition fees will not be waived for students aged over 23 studying a Level 3 or higher course, however these students may qualify for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan.

Course Content: This course is designed for a wide range of
learners, including those with specific learning disabilities,
14-19 year old learners who require a vocational curriculum,
disaffected learners and those who have not yet achieved formal
qualifications.
The aim of the qualification is to give learners the opportunity to
gain knowledge and understanding of a range of skills with
relevance to the area of Construction. The course is designed as an
introduction to the work place and will help you develop the skills
you need to work in the construction industry.
You will cover areas such as:
• Using ICT systems
• Money Management
• Job and career preparation
In addition students will study English and Maths as part of their
course. Entry Qualification: Diploma in Site Carpentry at Level 2,
Diploma in Site Carpentry or NVQ equivalent. (Experienced workers
will be considered subject to skills match profile.)
A conversancy with IT is recommended for this course.
Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy at Level 1 minimum or
GCSE grade Cs recommended. Special Features: Highly specialised and
experienced tutor will deliver this course within a realistic and
controlled working environment. Planning and resourcing skills.
Student will be given the opportunity to achieve Functional Skills
at Level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy. Course Format: Modular
Online underpinning Knowledge test
End synoptic assignment Progression: Higher Educational programmes
in Construction Studies. HND/HNC
