ICT Functional Skills Level 2

These courses are available to start twice a year, provided there are spaces available.  Please call us to add your name to the waiting list or enrol.  We will arrange for an assessment before you start to establish your current level.
 
Most of us are familiar with computers, but don’t know how to get the best out of the software. Functional Skills courses in ICT give you the skills to work effectively using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software and you learn through practical scenarios, so that you don’t just gain the knowledge, you know how to apply it too. You will join a course that is at the right level based on your existing skills, and have the opportunity to progress to level 2, which is at the equivalent level to a GCSE.
 
Do you need financial support, to help with course fees, or to cover the costs of transport, childcare or study materials? We have a limited support fund available, which may be available to help you with the costs of learning—please ask to find out more.
