MA Global Management (Finance)

MA Global Management - pathway in Finance & Business Development

The MA Global Management Finance & Business Development pathway provides you with an appreciation of the complexity of the global economy, financial strategy and the risks organisations are exposed to, and how they attempt to mitigate and manage these risks.

The pathway provides you with an understanding of the underlying concepts of accounting and finance and a critical overview of the regulatory framework.

You will gain an appreciation of the application of these techniques in a managerial context, including the relevance of financial information for both internal and external users.

The MA Global Management pathway in Finance & Business Development comprises 3 semesters.

• Semester One - Six core modules and a choice of 1-2 elective modules. You will study various topics including globalisation, accounting and marketing
• Semester Two - you will study six core and specialist modules and a choice of 1-2 elective modules
• Semester Three - the final part of the programme requires you to complete either a dissertation or business research project
