BA in Film Studies

The Film Studies major is designed to provide a study of the theory, history and practice of films and film-making.  Starting from a broad base of contextual studies, you will progressively focus on specific areas in the study and practice of film. 

This major will enable you to develop

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to plan and execute projects
  • Team-working skills
  • Experience in creative writing and script development
  • Knowledge of pre- and post-production
  • Video production skills
  • Experience of photography

BA in Film Studies
