Improve your English, make new friends, learn about British culture and enjoy yourself! Reading is a lively, energetic student city with lots of students. The college provides a truly multicultural setting where you will make new friends from all over the world. It is just a 25 minute train journey to London, which means you can enjoy the tourist attractions and hip neighbourhoods of our
capital city easily.
The weekly fee for this course is £370 and you can choose to study between 2 – 4 weeks.

On our English Active Summer School, students with different levels of English will be able to learn from experienced and qualified teachers. In the morning you receive English tuition, and in the afternoon you go on trips or enjoy interactive activities so you can use and practise your English. The lessons help you to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening, and you learn more about British culture too. This course includes 25 hours tuition plus a full day excursion on Saturdays.
Language - general English, interactive activities, magazine/scrapbook project, food and drink (e.g. making a traditional English afternoon cup of tea and scone), drama, sport (e.g. dance, football, table tennis), nail art, face painting.
- Elementary to Advanced Level English
- Minimum age 16
- Minimum two week enrolment
