Plumbing & Heating NVQ Diploma Level 2 Course Details You will study the following subjects: Safety in plumbing. Key plumbing principles. Common plumbing processes. Effective working relationships. Cold water systems. Domestic hot water systems. Sanitation systems. Central heating systems (pipework only). Electrical supply and earth continuity. Environmental awareness. Effective working relationships. Entry Requirements 4 GCSEs at grade A-C and initial assessment test. Assessment is carried out via practical tasks in the college workshop and assessment centre. There will be phase tests for every unit. Students also have to sit an end test. All assessments need to be passed to gain full certification. Learning Outcome Plumbing & Heating NVQ Diploma Level 2. Progression after Programme Plumbing & Heating NVQ Diploma Level 3. Additional Information All students are required to wear appropriate protective equipment in the workshops, including safety boots and overalls. Students may be able to purchase these through the College at reduced cost. Early application is recommended as these courses are busy. This course is available for both Full Time and Part Time study.
