Plastering Diploma Level 2 Course Details The course consists of
occupational units of competence in Plastering and to provide
valuable practical and theoretical experience for those looking for
employment within the Plastering trade. The Diploma Level 2 is
designed to prepare people for work in their particular chosen
occupations. Those students who seek employment in construction but
have not been able to secure a placement with an employer can
develop the necessary skills and knowledge to work in their chosen
occupation. Also for those students who have failed to gain
employment/ placement but who wish to train in construction and
therefore make themselves more attractive to prospective employers.
It also provides a progression route for learners who have gained a
Level 1 Diploma in Plastering. Entry Requirements Four GCSEs at
grades D-E or above or Plastering Diploma Level 1. Assessment The
Diploma Level 2 is made up of a number of units and a synoptic
practical assignment. Candidates have to be successful in all units
and the synoptic practical assignment, as well as the GOLA online
test, a separate test set and assessed by the CAA to gain the
award. Each unit they achieve will be recorded. Learning Outcome
Diploma level 2 in Plastering. Progression after Programme
Successful candidates may progress to the Level 3 Diploma in
Plastering course or Employment within the Construction Industry.
The Diploma level 2 in Plastering directly relates to NVQ Level 2
and can therefore be formally recognised as progression awards.
