The syllabus comprises 12 units: 1Construction law and management.
2General site issues– hazards and control. 3Working at height -
hazards and control. 4Excavation work and confined spaces.
5Demolition hazards and control. 6Movement of people and vehicles–
hazards and control. 7Work equipment hazards and control. 8Manual
and mechanical handling hazards and control. 9Electrical hazards
and control. 10Fire hazards and control. 11Chemical and biological
health hazards and control. 12Physical and psychological health
hazards and control. A Course for Those with construction
management responsibilities and for those who are required to
provide routine day-to-day advice on health, safety and welfare in
construction work. The course is designed to enable holders of the
National General Certificate who have passed the qualification in
the last five years to complete the NEBOSH National Construction
Certificate. Entry Requirements NEBOSH National General Certificate
in the last five years. Assessment NEBOSH external examination to
include: 1Practical assessment and written report (2 hours) (NCC2).
2Controlling construction workplace hazards (2 hours) (NCC1).
