NEBOSH Award in Health and Safety at Work Level 2 Awarding Body NEBOSH Course Details NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work is a new qualification that is not for health and safety professionals– it’s for everyone. This introductory qualification is aimed at those who are interested in learning more about health and safety. It will provide a basic understanding of risks and hazards across all businesses and can be taken in any country. It is not necessary to have any previous knowledge of health and safety. A Course for Staff with supervisory responsibilities. Team leaders. People who wish to have an introduction to other NEBOSH qualifications. People who want a good foundation in health and safety that have some work experience, ensuring that they can put their learning into context. Entry Requirements There are no barriers to entry to the award programme but it should be noted that assessment includes a requirement to write short reports. Assessment Each unit of the Award in Health and Safety is assessed separately. Unit 1 is assessed by a multi choice examination. Unit 2 is assessed by a practical risk assessment of the candidate’sworkplace Candidates must achieve a pass standard in each unit to be awarded the NEBOSH Award in Health and Safety at Work. Learning Outcome This course prepares students for the examination of The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH).
