learners must achieve a minimum of 80 credits made up of mandatory

In addition learners will be required to complete 16 credits from
the options portfolio; mapped to the role and experience of
individual learners. A Course for Individuals who work as managers
in the health & social care andchildren & young people’s
services in the health & social care sector. Entry Requirements
You must be employed as the manager, deputy or assistant manager,
where competence and application of knowledge can be evidenced.
Teaching & Learning You will be taught through lectures,
discussions and tutorials reflecting on practice in the workplace.
Assessment Range of assessment methods will be utilised including
direct observation and reflective accounts. The qualification will
be assessed in a holistic manner and evidence generated from work
based activities. Learning Outcome The successful learner will
achieve the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social
Care and Children & Young People’s Services. Progression after
Programme The Level 5 Diploma can be accepted as entry requirement
for a number of Higher Education programmes.
