to prospective employers. Entry Requirements There are no formal
entry requirements but students will be expected to attend an
interview. If you have taken CDT at Secondary School you will
already have some knowledge of this occupational area, or if you
have attended the college on a craft link course with your school
you will be ideally placed to follow this course. Assessment The
Level 1 Diploma is made up of a number of units and a synoptic
practical assignment. Candidates have to be successful in all units
and the assignment to gain the award. They will also be required to
pass the GOLA online test, a separate knowledge test set and
assessed by CAA. Each unit they achieve will be recorded. Learning
Outcome Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying. Progression after Programme
Successful candidates may progress to a Level 2 Diploma or
employment within the construction industry. The Level 1 Diploma
directly relates to NVQ Level 1 and can therefore be formally
