Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Training Awarding Body AID in association with the HSE Course Details This course teaches the essential skills required by an AED operator and gives students the confidence to know what to do in this kind of emergency. This device can be used to administer measured electric shocks during CPR to people in cardiac arrest and is the best way of increasing the chance of survival. This course leads to the award of an AED Operator certificate on successful completion and is approved under the First Aid Regulations. Duration Three hours.
