world, with the majority of part-time students based in the UK or
Europe. The challenging course encourages you to re-examine your
professional convictions, to be sceptical of current clinical
practice and to implement positive changes in the workplace. The
learning experience is relevant to physiotherapists working in
clinical, educational, research and leadership settings and assists
students on the course to develop relevant skills to become leaders
in their field.

modules in areas of interest

Teaching, learning and assessment: A variety of teaching and
assessment methods will be used. This course is highly
student-centred with occasional keynote lectures. You will also be
involved in individual and group based activities in seminar,
tutorial and laboratory settings. Assessment is based on course
work, which may involve individual course work submissions, poster
and oral presentations. No practical clinical skills are taught or
assessed on this course.
Teaching hours and attendance: Each module which you study on
campus will require you to attend classes and carry out independent
work. Your attendance at QMU will depend on which module you are
studying.
Links with industry/professional bodies: The MSc Physiotherapy is
accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. The course
does not lead to a license to practice in the UK or to Health and
Care Professions Council (HPC) registration as it is not a
qualifying programme.
