The purpose of this qualification is to equip practising or potential first line managers with the knowledge and skills required to be able to manage volunteers.

The qualification provides opportunities for progression to other qualifications at the same or higher levels such as ILM Level 5 Award in Management of Volunteers, ILM Level 5 Certificate in Management of Volunteers.

Learners must achieve a minimum of 15 credits for achievement of the qualification. Learners must achieve 2 mandatory
