Following completion of the course, you will be eligible to take and gain an ITEC Level 3 qualification.
Day 1: Business Structure and LawLearn the basic forms of business and the responsibilities of business owners and managers, including contract law, employment law, business banking and business taxation.
Day 2: Understanding Business FinanceBe familiar with the elements of business accounts, including the main items in the balance sheet and profit and loss account.
Day 3: Measuring Business PerformanceMeasure and improve the performance of your business, using standard financial indicators, such as return on investment, return on sales, gearing, liquidity and cash flow.
Day 4: Costing and PricingCalculate costs and margins, enabling you to set prices to ensure that your business is profitable. Learn about different pricing strategies appropriate for your business.
