Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT are included in the programme content.
The Programme Content
The Level 2 Diploma in Maintenance Operations is designed to develop your skills and knowledge enabling you to work in the industry in your chosen craft. This course covers the following practical areas; plastering, bricklaying, tiling, plumbing, carpentry, storm water systems, roofing, lead flashing, drainage and basic electrics.
Entry Requirements
Initial assessment result at Level 1 or GCSE grade C in Maths and English or Level 1 course in Maintenance Operations.
Costs
Students are required to provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including boots. There may be a fee for materials which will be discussed at interview.

Progression
On completion of this Diploma, learners may progress to employment (NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Maintenance Operations) or a course at Petroc in one of the specialist areas.

Two years.
