The Programme

This syllabus is suitable for students with a particular concern for social, environmental and ethical issues so you will have a natural advantage if you are interested in current affairs. Students are expected to develop research skills and are required to read a quality newspaper. In year one you will cover planning, financing and managing a business. In year two you will study strategies for success, the business environment and managing change.
The Programme Content
Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at grade C or above in appropriate subjects.
Costs
Students are required to purchase a course textbook which will cost approximately £20. Students are also advised to read a quality newspaper and can, if they wish, subscribe to the Business Review magazine which will cost approximately £12.

The business programme is ideal preparation for any candidate wishing to study business and management at degree level but also subjects as diverse as politics, sociology, law, accounting and finance and the social sciences.

AS Level one year, A Level two years.
