What you study Higher National qualifications are highly valued by employers and professional bodies. This course is designed to offer a general business education with opportunities to develop personal skills as well. Topics you study include accounting, economics, law, management, marketing and organisational behaviour. The course blends the theoretical and practical, with the practical side being explored through the extensive use of case studies, “live” projects linked to businesses and students’ workplaces where appropriate.

Entry CriteriaYou will need a recognised Level 4 qualification in business, or related area, or an adequate performance in more than one AS subject. This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at A* to C, giving a tariff of 160 UCAS points from within the main programme area of study. Progression DetailsOn completion of your HND, you will be eligible to continue your HE studies at a University of your choice. Progression routes have been established locally with the University of Gloucestershire. Alternatively, you may wish to seek employment within any business environment.
