The Bookkeeping programme is designed for people who wish to gain
an understanding of the principles of bookkeeping as an aid to
running a small business or keeping financial records of small
businesses.. This course is designed for study by distance learning
at work or at home. You will receive a course manual, assignments
and study guide, plus tutor support by email.
The course is divided into two sections to develop your
understanding and build into a comprehensive study of bookkeeping
methods. The course covers:
Ledgers and cash books
Value Added Tax
Day books
Double entry and cash
Reconciling accounts
Management accounts
Financial accounts

Unit 5: End of period adjustments
On successfully completing the course you will receive a Petroc
Certificate of Completion. Hours can be counted towards recognised
