The Programme

This is a Level 3 programme designed to offer the general range of advanced beauty therapy techniques required by the industry. The course covers anatomy and physiology, body massage, specialist electrical treatments for the face and body, including non-surgical face lifting, body shaping and anti-cellulite treatments, microdermabrasion and cosmetic camouflage.
Additional qualifications are offered alongside to enhance knowledge and employability.

The Programme Content

The course covers anatomy and physiology, body massage, specialist electrical treatments for the face and body, including non-surgical face lifting, body shaping and anti-cellulite treatments, microdermabrasion and cosmetic camouflage. A full Level 2 qualification in Beauty therapy is an essential pre-requisite.

Selling techniques
Body massage
Facial electrical treatments including non-surgical face lifting and microdermabrasion

Learners will be expected to purchase a uniform, shoes, text book and beauty kit with an approximate cost of £300. Learners will also be expected to pay for printing and photocopying fees for their coursework. There are a number of enrichment

Entry Requirements

Learners will have completed a Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification prior to entry.

There are a number of enrichment workshops, courses and trips that are provided throughout the year at an additional cost.

Progression

Many of our students have gone on to employment in local salons and spas and travelled with their qualification working on cruise ships and in holiday resorts. With further training and experience students can continue their learning with part time and full time courses in holistic therapies, nail technology, spa treatments, teaching and management.
