Oxford Language College

Oxford Language College (OLC) is an Oxford based college with a real passion for teaching languages and preparing candidates for their language exams. We have outstanding teachers (many of whom teach in Oxford and Cambridge), great support staff to consult and guest speakers from reputable institutions.Every term OLC welcomes students from all over the world to the historic city of Oxford. We specialise in offering preparatory courses to prepare you for recognised Cambridge ESOL Exams by our partner exam centre in Oxford (AUO University). However we are not all about exams, we have sport facilities and regular tours of Oxford, London, Cambridge. Our students take up cricket, basketball and other sports on campus and at the local student gym from the local university (Oxford Brookes).

Here at OLC we have teamed up with a local Cambridge language exams provider (AUO) to prepare English courses that will improve your general English language skills and your skills in taking exams such as IELTS, BULATS, etc. If you need a course that is tailored around you, we recommend the B1 blended course with online and computer (self study) elements as well as face to face teaching and support.

OLC Campus is located in the great landscapes of Farmoor in Oxford. It is only 10 minutes away from the train station with the Oxford bus service (S1) leaving every 15 minutes. The campus enjoys many classrooms, student common areas, pool table, basketball and volleyball ground and a canteen that serves fresh food every day! The campus at Stroud Court has been a language centre for over 50 years. When you are on the campus, other than attending your classes and group activities, all students at OLC receive individual tutorial and teaching sessions where the students take advantage of the personal and one to one attention. There are 3 PC rooms and designated study areas in the library.

Many of our academics are educated to Masters and PhD (Doctorate) level with a wide range of academic experience. We currently have staff who have been teaching across the globe from Brazil to South Africa and from Japan to Portugal.
