Description
This course provides basic machine shop skills in the areas of
fitting, drilling, turning and milling, using conventional
machines, tools and equipment. There are opportunities for new-
comers to learn and develop these skills through a range of
practical tasks. The class also provides additional time and access
to equipment for the achievement of NVQ L1/2 engineering
operations. Please note that it is a requirement for learners to
provide their own Personal Protective Equipment for use in this
