This module is drawn from our suite of Construction Management masters programmes. The module examines different strategies which can be adopted by the client to procure the design and construction of a project. A successful outcome will depend upon matching the key elements of the business case and the client’s attitude to risk to an appropriate procurement strategy.This course will:

This course will:

- develop a comprehensive knowledge of the structure and characteristics of the commonly-adopted UK strategies for the procurement of project design and project construction
- understand techniques to manage client risk
- understand methods available to assist the appropriate selection of consultants and constructors.
