This is a two-day refresher course suitable for current First Aiders who need to re-qualify to maintain their First Aid at Work certificate.
Employees who are certified First Aiders must complete this course within 3 years of being accredited in order to retain their certificate.
Course ContentThis re-visits topics covered on the First Aid at Work course, including:
- When and how to use CPR.
- Know how to treat bleeds, burns and unconsciousness.
- What to do when treating medical conditions.
- Knowing what to do when handing over to the emergency services.
- When and how to put somebody into the recovery position.
- Responsibilities for accident reporting.
