This course will provide you with an in depth knowledge of a full range of childcare topics from child development to the early years curriculum.

What qualifications or skills do I require to study this course?

4 GCSEs at Grade C or above including maths and English Language.

What does the course involve?

You will have the opportunity to study: • Working with children • Paediatric first aid • Promoting a healthy environment for children • Play, learning and education • Food and nutrition • Working with children with special needs • Caring for sick children • Practical work experience

What option will be open to me if I successfully complete the course? Upon successful completion of this course you can look for employment within a range of child care settings or progress onto a related degree at university.
