Is this course for me?

A Level study at NHC is a great preparation for both university and the world of work. You can look forward to studying in a friendly atmosphere with excellent facilities and resources. Tutorials are an integral part of the AS and A level programme and as such each full- time student is allocated a personal tutor who will monitor their academic progress and offer advice and guidance to help you achieve the best possible results. All students will undertake employability skills and enrichment activities and receive guidance on opportunities in higher education and employment.

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics.

What does the course involve?

Students can choose to study up to four A Levels from our wide range of subjects available: Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Citizenship Studies, Communication and Culture, English Language, English Literature, Extended Project Qualification, Film Studies, History, Law, Mathematics, Media Studies, Physics, Psychology and Sociology.

What option will be open to me if I successfully complete the course? Students can apply for a wide range of university courses and Apprenticeships as well as looking for employment.
