Course Summary:
The term ‘safeguarding’ covers a range of responsibilities that adults have towards children and young people in their care. This course aims to provide the particular skills and knowledge to enable learners in a wide variety of settings to carry out these responsibilities effectively. As they work through the course, learners will become clear about their role in preventing abuse.
