The Level 2 Certificate in Practical Horticulture focuses on developing essential horticultural skills and is suitable for all levels, from those keen to gain new practical skills and knowledge, to those in the industry who want to gain a practical level 2 qualification. Assessment for the qualification is carried out at the centre though assessed practicals throughout each of the 7 units. Learning to recognise different plants one of the key elements to the course.

And one optional unit chosen from Sustainable garden practices or the safe operation of powered garden machinery.
