Health & Social Care NC SCQF Level 6 (Social Care Route)
This award is recognised by the Scottish Social Services Council, who were involved in its development. Learners may increase their employability skills by understanding their responsibilities in the workplace, develop self-evaluation skills and confidence in goal setting.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
For people with Standard Grades at credit level, relevant work experience or have successfully completed a relevant course at SCQF level 5. One example would be the Child, Health and Social Care (SCQF level 5 Social Care Route).
Evidence of membership of the PVG Scheme in respect of Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults will be required prior to placement allocation

PROGRESSION ROUTES / CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
On successful completion students may progress onto the HNC in Social Care before proceeding onto the BA in Social Work at The Robert Gordon University. Full completion of the group award may offer progression to social work.
