Watercolour Painting (ACLS)
This course is for beginners and improvers as we will look at composition, drawing skills, colour mixing and painting from observation. The use of sketch books will be encouraged as these are the food of the visual artist.
Subjects of interest can be plucked from these and worked into bigger paintings. We will look at still life, painting figures, flower and plant subjects plus more areas of student personal interest.
We aim to have a display in a local library at the end of the course if there is sufficient interest in doing so.
Students must be:
- Aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2012
- Studying their first ACLS funded course
- A Nottingham County Council resident
