Paediatric First Aid (SFA)
The course focuses on dealing with child and infant first aid and features:
- First aid kit
- Resuscitation
- Choking
- Asthma & diabetic emergencies
- Head injuries
- Seizures
- Bleeding
- Burns
- Sprains, strains & fractures
- Poisoning, bites & stings
- Childhood conditions (e.g. measles, meningitis, croup)
Students MUST:
- Be studying their first Formal First Steps (SFA) funded course
- Be aged 19 or over
