Level 3 Wall & Floor Tiling NVQ

This course consists of the following:

• Confirming the occupational method of work in the workplace
• Confirming work activities and resources for an occupational work area in the workplace
• Confirming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace
• Developing and maintaining good occupational working relationship in the workplace
• Laying sand and cement screeds to levels and/or falls in the workplace
• Laying under tile electrical heating systems and tiling surfaces in the workplace
• Preparing backgrounds ro receive wall and/or floor tiling in the workplace
• Produce internal and external sand and cement backgrounds in the workplace
• Produce tiled, mosaic and stone surface finishes in the workplace
• Provide drainage for tiled surfaces in the workplace
• slinging and signalling the movement of loads (secondary role) in the workplace

All students must be employed in the industry and have ONE from the following:

• 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C, including English, Maths and Science
• Level 2 Wall & Floor Tiling NVQ, plus GCSE English or Maths at grades A*-C
• Equivalent qualifications

Adults 19+ who have industry experience but do not have the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply.
