Level 2 Site Carpentry CAA Diploma
This course is designed to give students a more advanced level of carpentry and joinery skills in the assembly and fixing of joinery components.
Students will study a number of units including:
- Health and safety
- Setting out timber to produce joinery items
- Producing cutting lists
- Forming timber joints
- Tower scaffolds
- Hanging doors
- Fixing skirting boards
- Boxing in pipes
- Erection of roof trusses
- Laying floor boarding
Students must have ONE from the following:
- 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E), including English and Maths
- Level 1 Diploma in a construction discipline, plus GCSE English and Maths (1 at grade A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E)
