Level 2 Maintenance Operations CAA Diploma
This course provides a combination of practical and theoretical units to form a skills base and understanding of maintenance operations.
Students will study a number of units including:
- Safe working practices
- Information, quantities and communication
- Building methods and construction technology
- Small scale masonry trade repairs
- Small scale painting/decorating and associated trade repairs
- Small scale plastering trade repairs
- Small scale wall and floor tiling repairs
- Small scale wood trade repairs
- Small scale plumbing repairs
All students must pass an initial assessment test as part of the interview and have the following:

- 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E), including English and Maths, or equivalent. Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English
Adults 19+ who have industry experience but do not have the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply.
