This course consists of the following:
Week 1: Entrepreneurial Mindset:
- Finding out about your own skills- have you got what it takes to be the next Alan Sugar?
- How to effectively communicate and negotiate for results
Week 2: Creating your business vision:
- How to be creative and innovative
- How to come up with great ideas
- Why are some ideas good and some bad?
- How to research and identify if your ideas will work
- How to find people and organisations to help your business idea
Week 3: Creating a marketing plan:
- How to conduct market research
- How do organisations create great brands?
- How to identify great (and not so great) marketing campaigns

Week 5: Making a pitch for your idea!
- How will you bring your idea to market?
- Get advice and feedback from our panel (consists of Peter Jones Enterprise staff, students and Business National Diploma)
Not sure you have an idea?
You could work in a pair or in groups with others- so bring a
friend!
There will be a surprise prize for the best pitch
Students must be:
- In year 9, 10 or 11 at school
- Interested in setting up businesses of their own, or interested in business in general
