Keeping with the demand, London College is offering a part time course for Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification for students who dream of a career in building and managing business software solutions in a Windows Server 2003 environment. Certification is achieved through the following exams:
6 core exams: - 4 networking infrastructure exams + 1 client OS exam + 1 design exam
and 1 elective exam
The course covers all the following topics scattered within the above-mentioned 7 exams:
- Windows Server 2003 environment, network infrastructure, TCP/IP addressing, DHCP clients and databases, DNS
- replication issues, smart card authentication and password identification.
- Client OS exam requires skills in setting up complete XP Professional and configuration of device drivers and IO devices
- Core design exam requires designing Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure for meeting business and technical requirements.
- Elective exam is for setting up security for the network, servers and client computers, creating logical design and implementing it for actual security.
