Course Aim & Objective:
The aim of this course is to improve your conversational skills. To accumulate vocabulary and articulate sentences in French, to express an idea or intention appropriately.
At the end of the course each of you should be able to communicate in French, using a more sophisticated vocabulary and a wider range of tenses and grammatical structures to use the French language purposefully.
Assessment:
Observation, Question & Answer sessions, written, listening and oral assignments.

Course Syllabus:
An opportunity to consolidate and develop your conversation skills through discussion, including relevant topical issues. Listening, comprehension, translations and advanced grammar exercises are also part of the course.
Term 1: Introduce yourself and exchange personal information. Arrange meetings. Talk about your background. Enquire about properties for sale. Discuss the cost of living.
Term 2: Talk about your home town and enquire about holiday information. Locate and buy the food you need. Discuss dishes and menus. Saying what you do for a living. Ask about hours of work. Say whether you like your job and why. Taking part in job interviews. Discuss your family and friendships.
Term 3: Talk about travel. Making and changing reservations. Talking more about your background. Saying why you live in a particular place. Saying what you miss about your home. Putting forward an argument. Talk about your holidays. Talk about what you can and can't do.
