Course Aim & Objective:
To prepare you for the AS-Level examination and to familiarize you with the grammar and prescribed topics and text on the exam syllabus. To improve and further develop your understanding of the French language and work on the four main skills (writing, speaking, listening and reading).
You should:
be familiar with the exam syllabus; learn to speak and write competently; and be able to discuss topics of interest. You will increase your knowledge of the French society, culture, history, literature, arts and ways of life and cover current social and political issues. Assessment:
EDEXCEL past exam papers. On-going assessment in class and at home (homework).
Progression:
You should be able to enrol in the French A2 class (first year) next year to prepare for their A-Level (in two years).
